VISITORS AND NEWCOMERS . . . please introduce yourself to the Pastor and other members of the congregation and sign our Guest Book in the Narthex. We cordially invite you to worship with us on Sundays for either our Modern Traditional Service at 9:00 a.m. or our Traditional Service at 11:15 a.m. CHILDREN ARE WELCOME IN WORSHIP – Parents with small children may use the pews in the back of the church. The Parents’ Room (equipped with sound) is available.
A suggested prayer upon entering church: Eternal God, who gave your only Son to suffer death on our behalf that we may be saved to new life, draw us to you in humility and in penitence, that we may let Jesus take all our sins away and cleanse us from within. In his name we pray. Amen.

SUNDAY SCHOOL is today at 10:15 a.m. Sunday School is an untapped powerhouse for our children. Continue the new year with vigor, strength and a lot of fun!
CONFIRMATION CLASS is today at 10:15 a.m. It is important that we teach our children about the sacrament, their faith and Christian responsibilities. Let’s support our children to live as a follower of Christ.
EVANGELISM COMMITTEE meets today at 10:30 a.m. Our committee is about education, outreach, caring and sharing through Evangelism activities. Come be with a welcoming and sociable group!
BOY SCOUTS do NOT meet on January 20. Notice: No meeting on February 17.
(TUESDAY) BIBLE STUDY is on January 21 at 10:00 a.m. Come to Bible study to rejuvenate in the WORD; for the Bible increases our love for the God it proclaims!
(YOUTH) LYO and NG’Us meet on January 22 at 6:30 p.m. God uses us at all ages. To know Him from an early age is to spend your life walking with Him, learning from Him, and getting to know Him. It is important to teach our youth that the relationship with God will never get old.
(YOUTH) LYO and NG’Us will go sledding at Black Creek Park on January 26 after the 11:15 a.m. service.
(SUNDAY) ADULT BIBLE DISCUSSION resumes January 26 at 10:30 a.m. Come alongside to share a discussion of the body of Christ and to connect in a variety of ways!
ANNUAL CONGREGATIONAL MEETING is on January 26, supper at 5:00 p.m. and the meeting is at 6:00 p.m. Please kindly sign up for food count! The sign-up sheet is in the Narthex.
NEWSLETTER ASSEMBLY—Team B is scheduled to help on January 27 at 9:30 a.m.
LYO SOUPER BOWL is on February 2. The youth of Our Saviour are asking everyone to bring in a can of soup and a dollar. This year the proceeds and the cans of soup will go to Maggie’s house, To help celebrate Super Bowl Sunday, we are asking the congregation to wear their favorite sports jerseys to Church. Thank you.
SCOUT SUNDAY is on February 9 at the 9:00 a.m. service. There will be a cake reception following the service.
LYO 30-HOUR FAMINE EVENT is on February 7 and 8 (Friday and Saturday). Our Youth group will take a “retreat” through thought-provoking Bible studies, games, inspirational video, and more for an unforgettable day-and-a-half of going without food to raise funds for World Vision hunger.
WINTER WEEK BREAK is February 16—23. There will be NO Sunday School (16th), NO Boy Scouts (17th), and NO Youth Meeting (19th).
JUBLIEE’S VALENTINES LUNCHEON will be held at noon on Wednesday, February 12th at Rohrbach Brewing Company, 3859 Buffalo Rd. The sign up sheet is on the Narthex Table . We will be ordering off the luncheon menu and individual checks will be provided. No advance payment will be required. Hope you can join us for some delicious food and great fellowship.
A SERVICE OF THANKSGIVING for relationships— In keeping with St. Valentine’s Day, we are celebrating relationships during our worship services on February 16. We give thanks for
marriages, parental, sibling or any relationship you may wish to celebrate. Join us for a coffee hour following each service. There will also be opportunity for members who wish to renew their wedding vows to do so during the Prayers of the Church. We encourage you to share your wedding photos on this date as well.
ASH WEDNESDAY SERVICE OF HOLY COMMUNION is February 26 at 7:00 p.m. You are invited to this special service. Plan to attend the Mid-Week Lenten Services on Wednesdays, beginning March 4 at 7:15 p.m. during Lent.
CALLING ALL BOARDS—A sign-up sheet is on the Narthex table for the mid-week Lenten soup and sandwich suppers. Please help by picking a Wednesday to make soup. Thank you.
2019 YEAR-END FINANCIAL GIVING STATEMENTS are arranged in alphabetical order in the Narthex. Please pick up your statements to help us save on postage. Much appreciated!
THANK YOU to everyone who helped decorate and undecorate the church and Holiday Hall for Christmas. It’s always a festive and beautiful display!
WINTER HELP—Here is an opportunity for high school kids to earn a few bucks by shoveling/removing snow this Winter. We could use the help! Please contact Ed Jarvis if you would like to help.
2020 FLOWER CHART—The new flower chart for 2020 has been posted on the Narthex bulletin board. The Altar Guild invites you to indicate the date on which you wish to place flowers on the Altar as expression of devotion of the Lord, in memory of a loved one, as an expression of joy and thanksgiving on an anniversary or birthday, or other special occasions in life. The cost for the flowers is $30. We
encourage and appreciate your participation.

PRAYER REQUEST CARDS have been placed in the pews. If you have prayer concerns please fill one out and hand it to the Ushers after the Sermon. Please put the address of your Prayer Person on the card so that we may send them a postcard letting them know that they are in our prayers.
