The Parents’ Room (equipped with sound) is available.

THE LIGHTING OF THE ADVENT WREATH during our worship calls attention to Jesus’coming and the Advent hope which fills God’s people. Thank you to Daryl and Ed Jarvis for leading this portion of our worship at the 9:00 a.m. service, and Michelle and family at the 11:15 a.m. service.
RESCHEDULED ADVENT WORKSHOP IS TODAY—Sunday School will still have their pageant rehearsal at 10:15 a.m. The workshop will start at 11:15 a.m. for the youth who went to early service and Sunday School. The youth from the later service can join after the 11:15 a.m. service. Pizza will be served at 1:00 p.m.
RESCHEDULED YOUTH CHRISTMAST CAROLING will take place on December 18 along with their Christmas party that night at 6:00 p.m. (notice the time change). Please see Janeen Oliver with any questions.
ELCA UPSTATE NY SYNOD—We are requesting donations from the congregation for a gift to the Synod. We will collect from December 1 – 31. Coin envelopes are available on the Narthex table. Please place them in the office or offering plate.
CONFIRMATION CLASS is today at 10:15 a.m. It is important that we teach our children about the sacrament, their faith and Christian responsibilities. Let’s support our children to live as a follower of Christ.
SUNDAY SCHOOL continues their Christmas pageant rehearsal today at 10:15 a.m. A church inPasadena said “embodying the characters helps…’burn the story’ into the children’s brans” and“ Remarkably enough it comes together…there are times when it’s been a greater miracle than others, but it’s always a miracle…that somehow, wow, they told the story again.” Thank you to our Sunday School for their dedication in putting the pageant together!

WELCA CHRISTMAS PARTY is on December 10 at 12;00 p.m., hosted by Ann Marie MacBride. All are welcome, just bring your favorite party snack. A sign-up sheet is on the table in the Narthex.
(WEDNESDAY) BIBLE STUDY is on December 11 at 10:00 a.m. We were meant to bathe in the Word, to soak in it. Come join our lively group! It’s beyond just studying and reading.
CHRISTMAS DECORATING—Please join us for decorating our church for Christmas onDecember 13, starting at 6:30 pm. A sign-up sheet is on the Narthex table with more information.Sunday School will join the same night and also decorate their tree in the Augsburg Room. In addition, they will have crafts, games, Christmas caroling and pizza. All youth are welcome!
ALTAR GUILD—On December 14 at 9:00 a.m. there will be a Christmas preparation working bee. All are invited. Many hands make light work.
CHRISTMAS PROGRAM—Save the date and join our worship on December 15 when Our Saviour’s children perform their Christmas Program at the 9:00 a.m. service. Sunday School will have a cookie reception downstairs to celebrate Jesus’ Birthday where we will also be showing the movie The Star (around 10:30 a.m., finish up by 12:00 p.m.) Adults are welcome to stay with the children.Note: The pageant dress rehearsal is on December 14 promptly at 10:00 a.m.Additionally, we will also have the 11:15 a.m. service.
BRUNCH WITH SANTA is on December 14 at 11:30 a.m. A light lunch will be provided. Pictures with Santa following lunch. A free will offering to cover expenses will be collected. 2020 FLOWER CHART—A new flower chart for 2020 will be posted on the Narthex bulletin board. The Altar Guild invites you to indicate the date on which you wish to place flowers on the Altar asexpression of devotion of the Lord, in memory of a loved one, as an expression of joy and thanksgiving on an anniversary or birthday, or other special occasions in life. The cost for the flowers is $30. We
encourage and appreciate your participation.
