WELCOME to worship in the church of Our Saviour. We hope that you find the Sacred Spirit, feel blessed, create peace and practice compassion through the love of God and His saving grace. We extend the hand of friendship so that we can connect with you, for you are so valuable to the Lord and very precious in His sight.
VISITORS AND NEWCOMERS . . . please introduce yourself to the Pastor and other members of the congregation and sign our Guest Book in the Narthex. We cordially invite you to worship with us on Sundays for either our Modern Traditional Service at 9:00 a.m. or our Traditional Service at 11:15 a.m. We will be staring our mid-week Lenten service from March 4 – April 1 on Wednesdays at 7:15 p.m.
CHILDREN ARE WELCOME IN WORSHIP – Parents with small children may use the pews in the back of the church. The Parents’ Room (equipped with sound) is available.
A suggested prayer upon entering church: Holy God, our heavenly Father, who has revealed your Son to us as divine Lord: Open our eyes to see his glory, that we may give our devotion to him through committed living. In his name we pray. Amen.

CONFIRMATION CLASS is today at 10:15 a.m. It is important that we teach our children about the sacrament, their faith and Christian responsibilities. Let’s support our children to live as a follower of Christ.

SHROVE TUESDAY PANCAKE SUPPER is on February 25at 6:00 p.m. There is a sign-up sheet available in the Narthex. A free-will offering will be received with the proceeds going to Richards House, a ministry for homeless vets.
ASH WEDNESDAY SERVICE OF HOLY COMMUNION and imposition of ashes is on February 26 at 7:00 p.m. You are invited to this special service. In addition, plan to attend the mid-week Lenten services on Wednesdays, beginning March 4 (supper at 6:30 p.m. and service at 7:15 p.m.) during Lent season. It is important to please sign up for food count (on the sheet in the Narthex.) Also, the Lenten coin folders are available on the Narthex table.
CLC meets on March 1 at 12:30 p.m.
(YOUTH) LYO and NG’U meet again on March 4 at 6:30 p.m. Additionally, if you are doing some “winter cleaning” and would like to get rid of stuff, would you kindly donate it to the Youth yard sale? We have been collecting throughout the year. Items may be brought to Dell Hall during the office hours and on Sunday mornings.
A LENTEN CHALLENGE—Pastor is challenging you to share food with St. Theodore’s pantry. He asks that you to bring 1 item for the pantry for each of the 40 days in lent (February 26—April 9). You may bring your items each week to church (i.e. 7 items per week) and we will bring them to the pantry.
DAYLIGHT-SAVING TIME BEGINS on March 8.
EQUAL EXCHANGE ORDER—Orders for products will be taken between services on March 8. A large variety of organic coffees, as well as conventional and flavored coffees are available in 10 to 12-ounce packages or in single serve cups. Also available are various varieties of black, green or herbal teas. Chocolate bars, mini bars, chips, baking cocoa and cocoa mixes are also available for sale. Nuts (almonds, cashews and pecans) and dried mango are available as well. Orders must be placed in case lots, but you can divide the case with others as you choose. You pay for your order upon arrival, usually the following
WELCA MEETING is on March 10 at 6:30 p.m. We continue to increase our membership and hope that this will continue as we move through the year. There is always room for more and we always have yummy refreshments too!
ALTAR GUILD—Just a reminder to do the cleaning-bee chores you signed up for. A copy of the sign-up sheet can be found on the table in the Narthex. On March 11 at 11:00 a.m. we will be cleaning the wood furniture in the Sanctuary. Come join us; many hands make light work. And on April 4 at 9:00 a.m. please join us to fold palms into crosses. ALL ARE INVITED; no previous experience needed.
YOUTH SERVICE will be on March 15 at the 9:00 a.m. service. The Youth would like to borrow a table-top water fountain (something like the Zen bubbling over stones or rocks.) This is for the Youth service. If you have one and are willing to share, please let Janeen Oliver, Dick Ransom or Wendy Forrest know.
JUBILEES ST. PATRICK’S DAY LUNCHEON is on March 17 at the MacGregor’s Restaurant at noon on Buffalo Road near Tops Market. A sign-up sheet is on the Narthex table with additional information.
CHRISTIAN MOVIE is on March 21 at 2:00 p.m. The movie will be “A Question of FAITH”. A judge remands Maria to a juvenile detention center after the teen strikes 12-year-old Eric with her car while texting. Joining Eric in the hospital is Michelle, a young singer who collapses while auditioning for a major record label. As their respective parents begin to question their faith, a chain of events unknowingly brings all three families together in unexpected ways.
EASTER FLOWERS orders may be placed by March 22, absolute. Please sign up on the Narthex table. Take an envelope and place it in the offering during any service. We will place the flowers in the chancel for the Festival Easter Services. Plants may be taken home following the services.

CAMP JOY IN ITS 38TH YEAR for serving persons who are developmentally disabled. Camper
registration started February 1 and closes on April 30. Camp Joy 2020 dates are June 21—26. If you would like to volunteer, please check their website at www.campjoyny.org
TIME AND TALENT SHEETS—The Stewardship Committee will be compiling all the Time and Talent sheets at the end of February. If you have not yet completed yours, there is still time. Please complete a sheet even if you have served in the past. This will truly help Simone when scheduling. Please put your completed sheet in the box on the Narthex table. There are extra sheets there also. Together we can accomplish great things.
WINTER HELP—Here is an opportunity for high school kids to earn a few bucks by shoveling/removing snow this Winter. We could use the help! Please contact Ed Jarvis if you would like to help.
2020 FLOWER CHART—The new flower chart for 2020 has been posted on the Narthex bulletin board. The Altar Guild invites you to indicate the date on which you wish to place flowers on the Altar as expression of devotion of the Lord, in memory of a loved one, as an expression of joy and thanksgiving on an anniversary or birthday, or other special occasions in life. The cost for the flowers is $30. We
encourage and appreciate your participation.

PRAYER REQUEST CARDS have been placed in the pews. If you have prayer concerns please fill one out and hand it to the Ushers after the Sermon. Please put the address of your Prayer Person on the card so that we may send them a postcard letting them know that they are in our prayers.
