VISITORS AND NEWCOMERS . . . please introduce yourself to the pastor and other members of the congregation and sign our Guest Book in the narthex. We cordially invite you to worship with us on Sundays for either our Modern Traditional Service at 9:00 AM or our Traditional Service at 11:15AM. CHILDREN ARE WELCOME IN WORSHIP – Parents with small children may use the pews in the back of the church. Parents’ Room (equipped with sound) is available.

THE LIGHTING OF THE ADVENT WREATH during worship calls our attention to Jesus’ coming and the Advent hope which fills God’s people. Thank you to Franz and Sheila Foltz family at the 9:00 AM Service and Michael and April O’Connor family at the 11:15 AM Service for leading this portion of our worship. Advent coin folders are available on the narthex table. The offering received from this coin folder will go to our Mission/E.L.C.A. benevolence.
2019 FLOWER CHART awaits your choice of dates for placing flowers for the Sunday Services in memory of loved ones, in celebration of an anniversary, or any special occasion. Sign up soon! The chart is posted on the bulletin board. The cost of altar flowers is $30.00. Thank you.
CHRISTMAS POINSETTIAS—The Altar Guild invites you to place a poinsettia in the chancel for the Festival Christmas Services. Plants this year are $10.00 each and may be taken home for enjoyment or given to a sick or homebound person following the 10:30 PM Christmas Eve Service. Please sign-up today on the narthex table. Please take a special envelope and place your payment in the offering plate. Sunday, December 16, is the last day to sign-up for Poinsettias.
2019 OFFERING ENVELOPES are arranged alphabetically on the narthex table. We appreciate your help by picking up your envelopes today. Should you not find a set with your name, please check with the office and a set will be made for you. Please do not use 2019 Offering Envelopes until the first of the year.
75th ANNIVERSARY We need your assistance preparing for our 75th anniversary next year . The anniversary committee wants to develop a scrapbook of our church’s history . If you have news clippings, photos, letters from members and other memorabilia we ask you to share it with us. Please place any items in the box set up in the narthex during the months of December and January. Thank you in advance. In addition, through the month of December we are asking for your help to come up with a theme for the Anniversary. You will have opportunity to submit you theme on the Tan response sheets throughout the month of December and we will announce the winning theme in January.
BRUNCH WITH SANTA—is Saturday, December 15, at 11:30 AM. A light lunch of grilled cheese sandwiches and chips will be served. Pictures with Santa following lunch. A free will offering to cover expenses will be collected. Reservations are a must! Call the Church office 247-7824 or pick up a flyer on the table in the narthex. Volunteers are needed to set up, cook, and clean up. Please call the church office if you are willing to help.
NEED VOLUNTEERS – With winter on our doorstep, we are in need of a few volunteers willing to shovel and operate snowblowers. If you are interested, please call Ed Jarvis

Jubilees Christmas Luncheon— today is the final day to sign up and Pay for this luncheon. Jubilees Christmas Luncheon at beautiful Brook Lea Country Club on, December 13, 2018 @.will be served in the library with a carol sing-along following. Our own very talented Alexandra Pond will be playing Christmas music on the piano for us to set the mood for Christmas.selection and the sign-up sheet are on the narthex table. We are limited to 48 participants so sign-up today if you are interested.
